TVE03 – Edwardian Petticoats

$13.00$19.50

This petticoat is fitted over the hip at sides and front, medium full through the knee, then full at the hem.  This creates the ideal support for the flared skirts of the late 1890s though 1909.  Illustrations were taken from catalogs of 1907 and 1909, with drafting instructions from 1908.

The base petticoat is a 5 gore petticoat with a dust ruffle at the hem.  A facing at the waistline creates a low-bulk drawstring closure that can accommodate fluctuations in size.  The 4 views offer variations on ruffles and flounces, with both tucked and no-tucked versions.   Views 1, 2, and 3 come off just below the knee, and view 4 is at the top of the knee (individual lengths may vary.)   These petticoats are good for white skirts with lace and insertion, or colored petticoats of silk or taffeta.

The E-Pattern contains the following formats:
Letter/A4 – Prints on 51 sheets, 2 files, needs assembly.
A0 – Prints on 3 sheets, needs assembly.
