TV321 – 1877 Gabrielle Overskirt

$13.00$19.50

The general shape of our Gabrielle Overskirt was a popular style for both overskirts and polonaises between 1876-1878. The center front is a narrow panel, getting wider towards the hem. The sides are fitted at the top with darts, and have either pleats or gathers at the front edge, and pleats at the back edge. This overskirt is long, coming to about 4″ above the floor at the longest points. The back is lightly attached to the sides, forming three loops above the trailing hem. The center back is pulled up in a low double puff. Ties on the inside of the skirt hold the overskirt close at the front and sides. The waistband is in 2 parts, with the back panel pleated into a separate band that attaches on each side to the front waistband. The “fall-back” opening is hidden under the top loop, and can be with either hooks or buttons.

The E-Pattern contains the following formats:
Letter/A4 – Prints on 47 sheets, 2 files, needs assembly.
A0 – Prints on 3 sheets, needs assembly.
