This is a great pattern; I’ve found that the sizing runs true in the body portion which makes fitting quite easy. The point in the front and the back almost always need some trimming, but it leaves room to make it whatever angle you want.
The only reason I don’t give this pattern five stars is that I’ve consistently found the base sleeve sizing to run a little large, even when following the measurements, and the puffed part that goes over to also be excessively puffy.

I’ve made this twice in two totally different sizes (the smallest and a size G), unfortunately both with minimal fitting (in the first case for lack of time, for the second for the lack of proper help- imagine my 20 year old son pinning the back with safety pins), however, BOTH CAME OUT GREAT, with only minimal adjustment.

Great pattern! The bodice ended up being a bit long, but it was an easily fixed problem. The boning instructions however, I thought were not very clear. As I am new to costuming, it was my first time using boning and I ended up relying on online tutorials. In the end however, I was very happy and will be using the pattern again.

This is my favorite bodice from TV. I love it, it’s easy to put together and I like that it’s a bit long, that way I can cut it down to what I want the final look to be.
