I absolutely adore this pattern! Used it twice, the first time was my first time ever sewing a blouse/shirt-type of garment and I was particularly satisfied with the result. Instructions are thorough and really helpful, I even used them as a basis to construct other shirts with improvised patterns afterwards, that was a great way to learn the basics of shirts construction while not struggling too much.
I only had to recut the neck hole, as it was way too small, and I enlarged the collar piece in consequence. Everything went smoothly, and the pattern is great both for machine and hand sewing!
And the fit is great, it’s a pretty blouse that fits both historical-ish outfits and more modern stuff, looks great with and without a corset underneath, overall I must recommend it.

Be advised that while you can pretty reliably just pick up a pattern and go on with sewing the actual garment with most Truly Victorian patterns due to the entirely different way of calculating your pattern size, even for someone like me who’s a rather peculiar shape, this one you definitely should do the mock-up for! The neck hole was very small for me also and the sleeve placket fell in an awkward place on the short sleeve option and I had to re-do them. Learn from my mistakes, just make the mock-up first!
THAT SAID it is a lovely pattern after the adjustments with comprehensive instructions for the complicated bits and the resulting garment is quite lovely and suitable for corset/no-corset wear.
