Easy to construct and I didn’t need to make any alterations to the pattern. I added a bone in each of the front darts to smooth the front and you could probably add bones in the side seams too if you wish. The fit is flattering and I’ve been wearing my vest almost every day! It looks both elegant and professional paired with a white shirt and a colorful ribbon around my neck. Can definitely recommend this pattern!

Easy to make and it can be constructed completely by machine. The fit is accurate. The written instructions and drawings are quite clear after careful reading. “Trust the process” comes to mind. I made the double breasted and single breasted versions straight off the pattern and both turned out well. They are comfortable and I wear them with modern as well as historical clothing.
